John is ready to run the LA Marathon for the 6th time!
Chris, John, Pam and Corrin made it to Dodger Stadium, where the race will begin. After running 26.2 miles…they will end up in Santa Monica.

Jason and Bethany renewed their vows at Mile 10 near Hollywood Blvd. and Vine. What a memorable Valentine’s Day race this will be!

Judy ran 13 miles prior to coming out to watch the race. She then ran with her friend from Mile 16 to Mile 22 and back. She ran her own marathon!
Su was so surprised and happy to see some of her friends waiting for her at Mile 16 1/2. This was Su’s 2nd marathon (both were LA) and she had a PR of 5:16:05. Congratulations Su!!!

Air France was the sponsor for Mile 16 and passed flags out to the spectators. Stellar support team member, Cindy kept the runners entertained with her flag twirling skills! Viva la France!!

This beautiful medal is an appropriate color for a race held on Valentine’s Day. CONGRATS to Alice, Bethany, Chris, Corrin, Jason, John, Pam and Su who completed the 2016 LA Marathon!! What an amazing achievement!! Thank you to everybody who came out to be a part of our support teams. They cheered, took photos, applied Icy Hot, passed out treats, cold towels and cold drinks to not only our runners, but to many other runners that passed by.
