We’ll meet tomorrow at 7:00 am in the Alicia’s Cookery parking lot (590 Central Ave. in Brea) .The restaurant is located on the SE corner of Central and Berry. The route is 9.2 miles long but you can turn around and return at any location along the way to make it a shorter run.

Movie Night Monday October 14
Movie Night location has changed.
We will now be going to AMC Orange 30, address is 20 City Blvd West, Orange CA. Cost is $15 plus $1.70 service fee. Movie is one night only event Monday Oct 14th at 7pm. There are a total of 5 confirmed. You can purchase tickets through Fathom website. You have to choose your seat when purchasing ticket. The 5 confirmed going are seated in row E seats 6, 7, 8, 9, and 10.

October BR Dinner (Thursday, October 17) :
Our group monthly dinner will be at the Olive Pit restaurant in Brea. https://www.olivepitgrill.com. We will go there after the run and we will also celebrate all the BR October Birthdays Julie 7, Cara 8, Rosemarie and Eric 16 , Chris and Rick 17, Elaine 18. Before the run we will take the group annual picture in front the huge pumpkin!!!
Boxes of Love:
Elaine is inviting us to participate in this great program. Here is her message:
St. Jude is again supporting Canning Hunger and their “Boxes of Love” program. There are four ways to participate:
- Go shopping and select all or some items from the menu checklist (see attached)
- Donate check or cash and I (or Turkey Gobblers) will go shopping – make check out to Elaine Tipton-Cook
- Donate $8.00 check or cash to go along in the box to cover costs associated. Please make check out to Canning Hunger.
- Do any of the combination of the above!
I will bring boxes to the Tues and Thurs runs if anyone would like to take one. I will be collecting the boxes or any of the items above until Thursday 10/24.
Last year our BR family collected 15 boxes = 15 families – YEAH! It would be great to collect 15 or more boxes this year!! Thank you for your consideration and for helping our community!
