Saturday Run (March 4)

We’ll meet at the Fullerton Courthouse at 7:00 a.m. (near the intersection of Brea Blvd. & Harbor Blvd….behind the Ralph’s) 1275 N. Berkeley Ave. Fullerton, CA 92832. We park in the lower parking lot. We have 3 mileage options…5 miles, 7 miles and 10.5 mile

The running streak continues. A message from Rick:

The streak is still going strong, 454 days (1235.5 miles)! My total miles were down a little this month – 71.5 miles. I was fighting a few I.T. band issues for most of February, so I dropped my mileage down this month. However, February was a good month to cut back as I had rainy day runs for 10 of the 28 days. My next goal that I’m eyeing is hitting the 500 day mark which is “only” 6+ weeks away. I’ve also started my training for this year’s Yosemite Half on May 13th. Streak running made the news in early February as the all time streak leader, Dr. Ron Hill, ended his streak on January 30th. He started on December 20, 1964 and ended his streak with 19,032 days and 160,000 miles. Incredible! Streak on!
