Directions to the Hollywood Sign from https://socalhiker.net/hiking-to-the-hollywood-sign-and-bronson-caves/
Head north on Canyon Drive and continue on road
The road becomes a fire road chained off to cars
Begin climbing up and above the treelined canyon
Turn left (west) on the Mulholland Trail
Turn right on Beechwood Trail ( this turn not evident in map)
Turn right on Mt Lee Trail
After you reach the Hollywood Sign
Follow the spiral road to a short trail to the summit of Mt. Lee
Retrace your steps to Canyon Drive
The Bronson Caves are approximately 1/4 mile from the parking lot. We can check them out before or after the Hollywood Sign and Mt. Lee hike.
Remember to bring what you need on your hike: water for 2 to 3 hours hike, snacks, small trash bag, hat, sunscreen, tissue paper, first aid etc…
If it rains tonight the group hike will be cancelled. I will be calling the Park this evening to check on the conditions of the trails and any closures. If the group hike is cancelled, it will be posted in the blog and you will receive a text ( if we have your number).
