Thursday Run (Sept. 29)

We will meet in the Yorba Linda Community Center parking lot at 6:00 p.m.  This is the community center that we run past on the Nixon Trail.  It is on the corner of Imperial Hwy and Casa Loma Ave.  We park in the parking lot that you enter from Casa Loma Ave.  The address is:  4845 Casa Loma Ave.   Yorba Linda 92885.


Remember to bring your safety lights and you may need headlights or flashlights as it will be getting dark toward the end of the run.

We will meet at the Yorba Linda Community Center at 7:00 a.m. The address is 4845 Casa Loma Ave. in Yorba Linda and the center is located at the intersection of Imperial Hwy and Casa Loma.  We park in the parking lot off of Casa Loma.  This is an out-and-back run and you may turn around at any point.


Directions for CA Cruisers YL Run (10 miles):

From YL Community Center

Run EAST on the trail towards Nixon Library

LEFT on Grandview Ave. (2 mile point)

RIGHT on Mountain View Ave. (1st street on right)

Cross Kellogg and continue on Mountain View

RIGHT on Sunmist Dr.(1st street on the right – it looks like a driveway)

RIGHT on Arroyo Cajon Dr.

Quick LEFT onto El Cajon Trail (2.8 mile point)

Stay on the trail which runs along Imperial Hwy

You will see a water tower (3.6 miles point) and cont. on trail to Fairlynn Blvd.

RIGHT on Fairlynn Blvd.

LEFT on Esperanza Rd. (4.1 mile point – gas stations and store)

Run under the bridge

Turn around  0.1 mile past Lindsey Dr. for a 10 mile round trip run

6 Mile Run; Turn around at Imperial Hwy and return the same way

8 Mile Run: Turn around at Esperanza and Fairlynn and return the same way

10 Mile Run: Run just past Lindsey Dr and return the same way

Thursday Run (Sept. 22)

Safety First: It is beginning to get dark earlier. Remember your reflective gear and safety lights.

We are going to meet in Downtown Fullerton near the SE corner of Harbor Blvd. and Wilshire Ave. at 6:15 p.m.  There is a parking structure surrounded by Wilshire Ave., Pomona, E. Amerige and Harbor Blvd.

Fullerton Market (4 miles)  This run does not include the Fullerton Loop trails.

Julie also joined us and she took this picture. It is always great to see  our running buddies!!!

We are going to meet near the NW corner of Brea Blvd. and Birch St at 7:00 a.m. You can park in the parking structure located on Brea Blvd. behind the movie theaters.  The route can very easily be modified to any distance.

Bruxie Run (12 miles)

Here are 4 Mileage options:

6 Mile Run – Run to Tri-City Park and return

8 Mile Run – Run to the corner of Golden Ave. and McCormack Lane and return

10 Mile Run – Run a little past Rose Ave and return

12 Mile Run – Run to the Community Center and return

Directions for Bruxie Run (12 miles):

From the NW corner of Birch…Run EAST on Birch St.

RIGHT on Randolph Ave.

LEFT on Imperial Hwy.

RIGHT on State College Blvd.

Enter Craig Park and run through park to Associated

RIGHT on Associated Rd.

LEFT on Rolling Hills Dr.

Enter Tri-City Park and run through park to Golden Ave.

Run EAST on Golden Ave.

RIGHT on McCormack Lane

LEFT on Bastanchury Rd.

Enter the Yorba Regional Trail (white fence on south side of Bastanchury)

Run to the Community Center and return via the same route
