Tuesday Run (Nov. 24)

We’ll meet near the Snail’s Pace store at 6:00 p.m. We gather in front of the In Flower floral shop (1050 E. Imperial Hwy in Brea), which is located between Snail’s Pace and Nothing Bundt Cake.  There are 2 versions for Lisa’s Rolling Hills Run.

Option 1:  Run out-and-back on Rolling Hills 1 time and out-and-back on Elm 1 time

RIGHT on Rolling Hills Blvd.

Turn around at Brea Blvd. and run back on Rolling Hills to State College

LEFT on State College Blvd.

LEFT on Elm St.

Turn around at Brea Blvd. and run back on Elm to State College

LEFT on State College Blvd.

Run SOUTH on State College Blvd.

RIGHT on Rolling Hills Blvd.

Dinner at Juan and Sandi’s (Sat. Dec. 5):  Juan and Sandi are having a get together for our runners.  Spouses/honeys are invited.  We’ll have dinner…followed by a talk from special guest speaker, Dr. Su.  She’ll be talking about her amazing Kilimanjaro trip and we’ll get to see her fabulous photos from her hike and safari.

Turkey Tri at Bonelli Park in San Dimas:  Bethany, Jason and I completed the sprint Turkey Tri on Sunday.  We were happily surprised to run into Juan and Sandi’s son, John who came to participate in the event.  It was a beautiful day and we had a great view of the mountains.  The Puddingstone Lake water was a chilly 65 degrees and thankfully we had wetsuits.  We saw a couple of people who didn’t! This was a fun and easy tri for beginners…very well-organized with plenty of volunteers, a cute tech shirt and medal and pumpkin pie at the finish line!  Thanks to Katie, John’s wife who came out to watch the race, cheered and took some photos!  Thank you also to Elaine and Dennis who rode their bikes from their house in La Verne to watch the cycling portion of the tri!  We appreciate the cheers and photos that you took!  Here are some pics:
