Divas Temecula Half Marathon:  We all had a great time running and relaxing this past weekend in Temecula.  The race was much hillier than we anticipated, but it was a beautiful course.  Days earlier, rain was predicted for race day morning…but we got lucky and it stayed dry while we were running.  Congrats to PAM B on a new half marathon PR of 2:18:53!!! Also…Congrats  to Michelle’s friend, MELISSA on completing her very first half marathon!!!  This is quite an achievement for both of them since this race was so HILLY and a lot of it was on trail.  Oodles and oodles of THANKS to MICHELLE for planning this entire trip for us!  Everything was well-organized and we all had a wonderful time.   Michelle did a great job selecting the house that we rented.  It was just down the street from the winery start/finish line.  We were able to walk to and from the race.  Besides running…we also enjoyed a delicious pasta dinner prepared by Melissa on Friday night.  After the race on Saturday…some went wine tasting, some went to eat and others stayed at the house to relax.  We also played pool, table tennis, sat in the hot tub and played games.  Once again…we missed each and every one of our BR friends (guys too!) who weren’t able to attend this trip.  Hopefully, we can plan a future getaway ‘runcation’ that everybody can attend!  I will post more pics soon, but here is a group photo taken before the race: FRONT: Liz W, Melissa, Su, Debi  BACK: Julia, Cindy, Chris, Pam B, Julie, Pam K, Kendra, Christy, Sandi (Michelle was our official BR photographer)
