Happy Birthday ALLISON and LORI!!!  They both share a birthday on Saturday.  Have a wonderful day!

Happy Running JENNIFER and RICH!!!  They will be running the San Diego Half Marathon on Sunday as part of a team to raise awareness of Apert Syndrome.  This will be Jen’s first 1/2 marathon in 4 years.  It looks like a great course, which begins at Petco Park and winds its way around the downtown area.

Happy Running JOHN, JULIE, MICHELLE, MIRANDA, PAM, PATTY and SU!!!  This group will be running the Los Angeles Marathon on Sunday.  This will be Su’s very first full marathon.  Her brother and sister-in-law from Sacramento will be coming down to run it also…along with Su’s sister from Minnesota.  What an exciting day for Su’s family!  Michelle ran her very first marathon 10 years ago in LA…to mark her 30th birthday.  Ten years later…Michelle will be running her 2nd marathon here…to commenorate her 29th birthday? LOL  This will be John’s 6th marathon and 4th time running LA. He should have the course memorized by now!  This will be Pam’s 3rd marathon and first time running LA.  Patty and Miranda have run this before, but I don’t know exactly how many times.  This’ll be my second time in LA.  It’s a wonderful course…it begins at Dodger Stadium and ends in Santa Monica and we’ll get to run by so many icons of LA.  We’ll see Chinatown, Olvera Street, Downtown City Hall, Little Tokyo, Walt Disney Hall, Grauman’s Chinese Theater, Rodeo Drive and more. There is a lot of crowd support throughout the course.  Ed’s son, Kyle and his band will be playing at Mile 1.  I’ll try to snap some pics along the way…so that you’ll feel like you were there with us…except without the sweat, sore legs and exhaustion!

Thanks for sending me this poster, Rosemarie!  I’m sure those of us running on Sunday will be thinking…OMG When will this end?  Although, some of us may be thinking this earlier in the race than others.  LOL
