			<content:encoded><![CDATA[<p>We will meet in the <strong>parking lot of Yorba Regional Park at 7:00 a.m.</strong>  Here’s the address:  7600 E. La Palma  Anaheim 92807  We park in the dirt parking lot…just east of Fairmont.  Those of us who are training for the Pasadena Rock &#8216;n&#8217; Roll are scheduled to run 14 miles.  This is purely optional and feel free to run whatever distance you are comfortable with.  Those of you training for Surf City will obviously be running fewer miles than this.  Since we&#8217;re running on the river trail&#8230;it is very easy to run any distance you want.  Here are the directions for the 14 Mile Run:</p>
<p>Run WEST on the River Trail for 2 miles &#8211; you&#8217;ll cross the wooden bridge and continue running WEST</p>
<p>You will see Peralta Canyon Park on your left (2 mile point).  Turn around here and head back running EAST</p>
<p>Continue running EAST and when you are just past the tunnel, there will be a fork on the trail</p>
<p>Veer LEFT up the hill and continue running EAST on the trail</p>
<p>Turn RIGHT on Gypsum Canyon Rd.</p>
<p>Enter the park and loop back under the brige and continue on the trail</p>
<p>When you get to the end of the RV Park, turn around and return to the Yorba Regional parking lot</p>

<p><strong><span style="color:#ff6600;">Brittany&#8217;s Garage Sale </span></strong><span style="color:#ff6600;"><span style="color:#000000;">- Brittany and her husband, Jason will both be participating in the &#8216;Fight for Air Climb&#8217; to raise awareness and funds for the American Lung Association.  They will be racing up 63 stories of the AON building in downtown LA.  They decided to have a garage sale to help raise funds for the American Lung Association.  If anybody has anything that they would like to donate to their garage sale, which will be held on Feb. 4th&#8230;please let me know.  I&#8217;ll collect the items and make sure that Brittany gets them before the sale.</span></span></p>

		<description><![CDATA[It&#8217;s 6:00 a.m. on Saturday morning&#8230;and it&#8217;s raining pretty steadily.  We&#8217;re going to cancel our Saturday run. 			<content:encoded><![CDATA[<p>We’ll meet at <strong>Tri-City Park at 7:00 a.m.</strong>  We park in the east parkng lot just off of Kraemer.  We&#8217;ve got a 12 mile run planned, but you can easily adjust the mileage according to your training needs.  We&#8217;ll start with Missy&#8217;s Run, which takes us to the Community Center and we&#8217;ll continue with Lori&#8217;s Run from there.  We will have to run around Tri-City Lake at least once to get closer to 12 miles.</p>
<p>There&#8217;s an 80% chance of rain on Saturday.  If it&#8217;s pouring outside&#8230;consider the run canceled.  If it&#8217;s just sprinkling&#8230;we&#8217;ll still plan on meeting.  In the event that our Saturday run is canceled, several of you said that you would like to run on Sunday instead.  So, if we don&#8217;t run on Saturday, I&#8217;ll post the information in the blog regarding a Sunday run.</p>

<p><strong><span style="color:#ff6600;">Fight For Air Climb</span></strong> &#8211; <strong>Brittany</strong> will be participating in the American Lung Association&#8217;s Fight For Air Climb. This will not only be fantastic training for her Great Wall Run, but she will be helping to raise funds for the American Lung Association. She will be one of hundreds competing to make it to the rooftop of the AON Center&#8230;the 2nd tallest building in LA (63 floors/1,377 steps). John said that this is the building where he works. Let&#8217;s hope the elevators NEVER break down!!! <p>Also&#8230;if anybody knows of any stairs in the Yorba Linda area where Brittany could get some training in&#8230;please leave a comment in the blog for her.  Brittany is a stay-at-home mom and doesn&#8217;t get a lot of &#8216;ME&#8217; time.  So, if you know of a park that has a lot of stairs, that would be great since she can run stairs while the kids play.</p>
<p><strong><span style="color:#ff6600;">Congrats Judy B.!!! </span></strong>- Judy just ran the Los Angeles 13.1 race last weekend in 1:53:15. This is a new PR for her! She&#8217;s getting faster and faster with each 1/2 marathon.</p>

			<content:encoded><![CDATA[<p>We&#8217;ll meet near Snail&#8217;s Pace at 6:00 p.m.  Let&#8217;s please try to park in the Lamps Plus parking lot, closer to Alphagraphics and Dr. Andersen&#8217;s office (which are closed in the evening).  The new Snail&#8217;s Academy classes started last week and the parking lot can get a bit crowded.  We want to be considerate and leave enough parking spaces for them, as well as for the customers shopping and eating in the center.  Let&#8217;s do Jenna&#8217;s Run IN REVERSE since I think it might be fun for us to run UP Bastanchury hill.  But, if you really don&#8217;t want to run uphill and want a shorter run&#8230;you can return on Rolling Hills instead.</p>

<p><span style="color:#ff6600;"><strong>Knott&#8217;s Coaster Run 10K </strong><span style="color:#000000;">- Missy spoke to the race director for this race and she found out that we are able to get a 10% discount on this race (and an extension on the lower registration fee that went up on Jan. 16th) if we submit all of our registration forms and checks together.  From what I understand&#8230;the course does not go through the park, but everybody get&#8217;s Boysenberry Pie and a cute medal at the finish line!  Yes&#8230;I will run for pie!!!  <strong>Let&#8217;s all do the 10K as a group run!</strong>  Here&#8217;s what you have to do:</span></span></p>
